As many of you have noticed there have been a few little things going on here. I was asked to try and get the forum in order for Ms.Treglown so she would know who was controlling it. I was a little shocked that there really wasn't a whole lot of organization with most of the moderators on the site. It wasn't their fault that this occurred but the prior managements failure to secure the site right away after the sale.
During this process a lot of feelings have been hurt and few toes have been stepped on. I believe my methods were harsh and I was really hating it. Unfortunately this site does not have a private moderators forum to do this behind the scenes. That will soon be changed. Anyway, some of the moderators feel as if they were wrongly accused of doing something nefarious. I did not specifically accuse any one of anything, I just used blanket statements to explain that some moderators were not on the same page with us. I apologize for my methods.
The whole process has been enlightening for sure. I have resolved who was deleting posts without clearing it through management. I found out who was not happy that the original owner doesn't own the sites any longer and I found out--unfortunately-- some that are willing to trash us publicly. They obviously would rather have things the way they used to be and may not be willing to accept the fact that things change.
I would like to apologize to the forum as a whole for these methods. It was not fair for you to see this and I am sure that it looks like a big train wreck waiting to happen. However, I would like you to understand that the site is now secure, your identities are safe and I am about to disappear into oblivion.
I have asked two people to become the new administrators for the site. Ms. Treglown is happy with the choices. I think you will be happy with the choices. I am awaiting their replies before naming them publicly. Once they are in place they will completely control the forum for the company and will have full control to do as they wish with the site as long as those two remain in agreement with one another and keep the owner of the site informed.
Once again I apologize to the forum for the not-so-pretty events that have occurred recently.
The RomeNewswire screen name will be left for administrative purposes and for announcements from the Romenewswire.com management.
Good luck to you all, I am outta here! The next post I make will be announcing the new administrators, it will be my last.

okay..now i am confused ! so, all the moderators were upgraded to super moderator??? but you have asked 2 people to be admins to the site, so, is that going to be the super mods or someone else ?

same here....im so confused now ! i try not to chime in on everything, i just sit back and let people say/talk what they want, although, i will "take charge" if one of the other mods dont, but, usually they take care of it before i get a chance to. not sure where this site will end up !
edited to add:
how many mods do we have now? i think the site worked better when there were just a few of us as mods...too many spoons in the soup makes for a bad soup.

I guess congratulations are in order to those of you who have become super mods.....I'm not real sure though. I respect you for hanging in there as it could not have been easy. I do wonder why you would want to be a mod. Seems like a lot of trouble to me.
If anyone figures out why everyone is a super mod all of a sudden, let us know.
