1. Admins or mods keep track of those who always ask for a topic to be closed or a member to be scolded...........................................a year or two from now you should have a good idea of those who are just a bit too sensitive and whose requests should be viewed skeptically.............................

2. If a member needs scolding, supermods should be required to send the inappropriate discussion to the two admins who both have to agree that something needs to be done..........................at which point the member receives a private message outlining the inappropriate content, what has to change and what is to be done about it.............................if it becomes public, it should only be because the member makes it so....................................................

3. Supermods and Admins should be expressly allowed to voice their opinions about anything so long as they stay within the rules of the forum...................................................

4. When a topic is closed, the reason should be given in the last post or a message sent to members via the forum if the topic is deleted..................................EVEN if the reason is "Cuz we don't like it and we own this place, if you don't like it, buy your own forum"............................................

5. Do not turn this into the old RN-T forum where most topics are taboo and you can't discuss any public or political figures.......................................

yep, you are.......................................but I can see where some mods withhold their opinion because some of our less-than-manly members think they are being picked on when a mod disagrees with them.........................kinda like a student arguing with the principal...................

on a different subject, if you go to "members" and then hit "posts", you, Spice, have the second most posts with 6044..............the most is by a member named "RPierson" with 4294967295 ................................. now THAT is a person with a lot of time on their hands...........and he/she must be posting all 4 billion plus posts in Recipes or Dating, because I haven't seen one post from him/her.........................

I totally agree with #4...posts or threads should not disappear without a reason being disclosed...If a supermod or admin is too cowardly to say why something is being closed, then they need to grow a set or turn in their badge and gun...;)
