If anyone has a stack of coupons they've already gone through and wouldn't mind passing them along...I'd be glad to get them off your hands!!  Just message me!

Thanks!

I clip coupons regularly and usually have some left over. I also get a lot from coupons.com.

You're welcome to PM me back if you are interested.

Why is it the coupons now a days are the same amount off to make the brand still a little higher than Generic or Store-Brand? Its so tight we buy all generic, unless it is just horrible. No coupons for us cheapskates, that I can find.

I usually buy the generic also, unless I can get the name brand cheaper with the coupon, which is the case sometimes. I've been clipping coupons for several months and usually average about a $10 savings per trip when I buy groceries, but that is at Wal-Mart. I've been told that my coupons will generate better deals at Kroger with their specials, but its on the other side of town so I don't get there often. Also Wal-Mart will price match any competitors sales paper.

I price math at the WALly MARTinez, too :o)  I usually take in the adds from all the other stores combined.  I try to get off to the side when I check out cuz folks HATE me doing that in line - quite a wait!  Kroger sends out coupons according to your kroger card.  They are good, cuz there are freebees on there every month like eggs, soap or veggies.  I am MAD at them for making all their frozen veggies 12oz from 16oz bags!  I have 4 in the family - so now I have to open 2 bags.  I like Food Lion - but like you, I feel they are too far away.  One of the FEW that still cut meat in the back, so you know what it is & fresh.  Their website has great coupons, but most are for their brand items.

I save mostly on vitamins & non food items.  Why have things changed so much!?!  Its real difficult to follow the coupons - and tohe buy-one-get-one are on all things that are marked up so much higher than sore brand - that the buy-one-get-one puts them at store brand regular price!  Its a challenge to save - they make it harder!

I only venture to Kroger when their prices + coupons make it a better deal than Wal-Mart...with two kids, I don't have time to store-hop...I like one-stop-shopping.

If you have a Kroger Card, log on & register it & you can print out all their coupons.  They just stopped using Proctor Gamble Coupon allocator - that put them on yor kroger card, but they have a few every week.  I have a stack of coupons - the good thing about Kroger....hate to say this - but I have turned in coupons "slightly expired" and never been turned down.  Their sales always run right when the coupon expires...

Do you buy the paper?  I dont anymore cuz I only saved $3 after the price of the paper.  I am not finding as much there.  Other than Kroger 7 Food Lion, what other webstes/sources do you know for coupons?

I do buy the paper (typically the AJC that is bundled 2 for 1)....I then have a few co-workers that all pool our coupons together for sharing.

I get a lot of mine from Coupons.com. I've signed up for other specials also and get offers and specials from sites such as homemadesimple.com.

Couponmom.com has many ideas and helpful information. Heck I've even got Wendy's sending me coupons for free hamburgers or discounts on value meals. When I remember, I have my sweet husband get me a Sunday paper.  I also love going into CVS and scanning my card at the coupon center to see what kind of deal I'll get. Yesterday it was $3 off my purchase, so along with my other coupons, I got $25 worth of stuff for $18.00.

I love saving money!
