I am looking to buy a Glock 23 .40 cal. Under 500.00 if at all possible. I will consider any Glock model but would prefer a 23.

Got both of my glocks used from gun shows for a really good price, both under $400 a piece.

You can't go wrong with a Glock, especially a 23:cool:

My first handgun was a Glock 23. I got it in October 2007 and have had it ever since. I like it so much, I doubt I'll ever part with it.:D

I bought a model 23 at a gunshow in gainesville for $350 new in the tupperware, I
didnt like the feel and sold it to a jefferson cop for what I had in it, he said it was
cheaper than he paid buying them directly from the importer in symrna

Is that a Galco Small of Back holster? If so, how do you like it with that full size 1911?

I ask cause I'm thinkin of gettin one for my full size SIG P220 that I just bought. I have a friend who uses one and says its comfy, but he uses it with a baby glock, so I was wondering if the bigger size of the gun makes a difference before I go spend $80 on it.....lol

I just wouldnt like having a buy a 55 gallon drum of oil every time I went to shoot, I like just having to put a few drops on.

All SIG suggests when lubricating is to put a drop of oil at the places that show wear. which are basically the same areas you would oil your glock. I've cleaned it twice, and it seems to work just as good dry as my Glock does.

I mean, don't get me wrong, I'm a big Glock fan. I got a 23 and 27 and am probably buying a used 21 pretty soon. But I've put 150 rds. through my 220 and its just as good. You can tell by the fact it makes shooting a .45 feel like shooting a 9mm.:D

But as I said, you can't go wrong with a Glock:cool:
