We had a great time, and a good turnout, even if the weather was bad. The kids did great on handleing themselves in a crowded situation.
My Wife beat me out of 1st. place in the outlaw division, and I had to settle for 2nd. but, I can still have bragging rights cause I built her car. My son Robbie was 1st in the tiger division, Dustin was 4th in wolf division, and my son Drew won best design. (another of mine) My grandkids won awards too, but I don't remember what.
all in all, it was a good day Tater.

you trust a 6 yo with a scroll saw? LOL I went by what they wanted. Robbie wanted a gran prix type car, Dusty wanted a train engine, and Drew wanted a big truck. Mine and mommas were from my brain. If you buff those axels and use graphite on em, the dang things will fly. LOL

You have a good point there about the saw.

they really fly if you sort through nails until you find some that fit snug in the wheels and then polish to fit, cuts out the wheel wobbling. and add lead to the front to get the weight back up to maximum allowed. I completely built both of mine but was probably 9-10 years old.
