Need always comes as BAD NEWS but there is no better guidance in the world than doing what one really needs to do. It was that LIVING WORD in my flesh that convinced me. My salvation therefore did not come from above but when I hit the very bottom and the voice in my own flesh told me that I had to quit my drinking and some other bad habits if I wanted to live. Here is a link to the bible I wrote from what that living WORD in my own flesh told me: (to see it, click on it.)

Yes this is me, the real Serpentfoot, and the only one in the world because I myself created that name and then legally changed my name to "Serpentfoot" (a one word name)  Nov. 5 (? I think it was the 5th), 1995. Thanks for the acknowledgement of "The real Serpentfoot"! I like to always acknowledge what is REAL, even if the situation is bad and needs changing for the better, still we have to retain a grip on reality, the old, the present, and what's next, and always acknowledging the reality of our other parts that are missing, that need is always with us, even when we join that which is not--in death. Thanks.

Serpentfoot, I'm curious if you even realize how much of a local legend you really are? In my opinion, without you channel 4 would go off the air. Nothing in this world is better than kicking back on the couch and watching ol' Serpentfoot giving them heJJ at the commission meetings. You hang in there and keep on keepin on.

Thank you so much for telling me I am appreciated. Also nowadays I rarely meet a stranger. Many tell me in person that they appreciate me. I hope you do not suffer from putting in in writing where so many people can see it. Please be warned that you may suffer for it and it might avoid some hardships if you remove that within the 48 (?) hours that you can edit things (In which case I will also edit this out.) because there are people out there who really do not like me. I have done 5 years in jail for objecting to "Christian" prayers at government meetings in Rome and Floyd county--in one scheduled speech and two body language nude protests during Christian prayers at the government meetings--not that Rome and Floyd county are that religious (Jesus told them to hide in the closet to pray: Matthew 6:5,6--not pray everytime they see a crowd or camera) and in the past they were most noted for their whorehouses not prayer houses--but those whorehouses are among the least criminal interprises in Rome and Floyd County--at least people were not forced to trade there and would not have frequented them if they did not get what they paid for. Too many government officials here are like those money changers in the temple, whose tables Jesus overturned for turning his "house of prayer into a den of theives."--Here it is the den of theives pretending to be a house of prayer.

BUT THE REAL REASON THEY PUT ME IN JAIL, AND TRIED TO BAN ME FROM THE COUNTY, is that I was also trying to stop the Forum fraud: The Forum was a separate element in the Report advertised before the election of 1988 (NOT PART OF THE 5 THINGS ON THE FACILITIES ELEMENT), and it was that Multi-purpose Facilities Element only (NOT THE FORUM) that was on the 1988 Ballot. So the Forum was a fraud--not on the ballot. Even so, what was on there barely passed. The paper the next day said there had been "a GLITCH" in the computers counting the votes, and showed a picture of people who were promoting the SPLOST, "fixing the Glitch". their tally shows the SPLOST passed by a small margin. I don't think it won even by a few votes. I think it was "FIXED". In any case what passed did NOT INCLUDE A FORUM.

But when the city and county fought it out in court, there was fraud in the court too. Judge Salmon dismissed my Motion to Intervene and ordered the clerk of court not to file anything else for me in any case ever again. Future Governor Roy Barnes, "representing Floyd County against the City of Rome", got a copy of my showing that the Forum was a fraud, but instead of arguing that, he and the city attorneys argued over WHERE TO BUILD IT--or in other words WHO IS GOING TO MAKE THE MONEY OFF OF IT. (You know there usually is a lot of builders and realty people on the commissions, as well as downtown merchants pulling for Rome.)

Like I said, I have made a lot of enemies trying to make government more honest in Rome, and most people here find it wise to keep silent. Even my Christian kin folks frequently tell me that I hurt their business and they wish I would shut up. Some of them have disowned me. I hate to see them hurt on my account and I would also hate to see a young fellow like you suffer for voicing some approval of me. But will future generations not suffer too if this corruption is not stopped? But there are many other ways to bring correction too and I am trying to be as civil, yet effective as possible in my limited time. I know you and a lots of others care, even when it is not put on paper or on the internet. I guess the fact that I am not lynched yet is proof of that. Thanks but protect yourself.

PS: I will keep preaching, even though my church is renamed to be a social club. I see you have noticed where I do my preaching, at the Rome and Floyd County Commissions: EVERY PLACE THAT HAS PRAYER IS A PLACE FOR PREACHING. Likewise Nudity is always appropriate where there is prayer. Even though Jesus said to "Hide in the closet to pray" (Matthew 6:5,6), still Jesus did not mean that you could hide anything from God. These "Wolves in sheep's clothing" may fool the more gullible of voters into believing they are "good" because they make a show of prayer but GOD can see right through them. Jesus only wanted them to hide so they could focus on talking and LISTENING to God, not be distracted putting on a hippocrit show for others. Nevertheless I will never again drop my clothes in their public prayers and cry out (as I did back in 1995) "Behold, Here is AN ANSWER TO YOUR PRAYERS, BEHOLD THE WORD IN FLESH! (as"The body is the temple of God...the WORD IN FLESH"). The Biblical Job, or even Hamlet, probably could not safely be seen nude again now, when people cannot seem to see any flesh without concentrating, obsessing on the idea of sex--they get no other message out of it. And nowadays too even professing "Christians" and other believers in "God as THE GREAT CREATOR" look upon the BODY AS THE MOST OBSCENE of Creations, Works of many old masters are accepted where "God's real human works are banned--that's "his temple" banned too. Even explaining it is distracting, so to stay on focus with any other subject I'll just preach, not let them see one extra inch of skin.

Have you considered writing a book about yourself? I would buy it, and I know many others would as well.

Thank You. I have published my "Story of Serpentfoot and the BAD NEWS GOSPEL". It is free, click on the above link. I may have some of them--along with my VIP People You Must Meet (a nemonic device to help remember U.S. states and capitals) bound together at the literary festival here on Sat., Oct. 17, 2009 (at the Rome Area Writers table). But it is costing so much to bind them in such short time that They will probably be a very limited supply priced at $50.00 each for those who want them bad. Later I will have a supply printed cheaper. In the meantime please feel free to print off a copy from the above posted link (at very top above.) Later I will post some more links of mine you may like here (to replace the ones I had up but which someone deleted.) Again Thanks!

Thank you Serpentfoot. I'll do that. Is it a sure thing you'll be at the literary festival?

Nothing is for sure. I would like to go to a family re-union out of town if I can arrange it and in  which case other RAW (Rome Area Writers) will have my books for sale if I ccan get them printed in time. Also the RAW Anthology which will include two of my articles should hopefully be on sale (cheaper) at the festival at their table.

I will be there myself if I can not arrange someone to go with me to the distant family reunion.

Thanks.

I'll make this short because I'm trying to finish up on printing some of my books discussed above. Meantime for all the "Creationists" out there, consider this proof that we NEVER, "HAVE IT MADE". I can tell you from experience that it is a struggle every day. Marilyn Monroe, President Kennedy, MLK, and numerous more of the most beautiful, healthy, wealthy, powerful can testify too that even if you have beauty, health, wealth, power, still you can fall, We NEVER "Have it made" and , at our luckiest (as long as their is still life) NEED is always with us. More later. Thanks!

In the same issue of Poets Monthly showing that I awarded Governor Jimmy Carter an honorary citizenship to Poetry Ga., I also awarded an honorary citizenship to Lt. Governor Lester Maddox. (I put two fronts on that paper--instead of a front and back--and had one of them on one side and the other on the other side of the Poets Monthly paper, although my Bad News Gospel--see link above-- reprints only the picture with Governor Carter. Later, I reprinted the picture with Lester Maddox when I heard of his death in summer 2003 and honored him with the article shown in the link below:

It is highly likely now that I will be, and at least plan to be, at the Literary Festival Saturday--at the RAW (Rome Area Writers) table in front of the Rome/Floyd County Library, because my other plans for a family reunion trip did not work out. So I look forward to meeting you there if you can make it.

My book will be a little overpriced because I had to pay so much to have it printed in color (mostly) and to laminate the covers and have it bound in such short time. Also I'm overpricing it at $50.00 per copy because I had such a limited supply done and do not want to sell all of them just to people buying it as a courtesy but want to reserve them for those who really want them, and want them more that they want 10 other ordinary books.

If you are running short of funds, or want to pick and choose and print the material out yourself' you can find all the articles in my book, AND MORE, in the BACK BYTES list I am attaching here (just not with revisions of the copyrights and a revision on the Chief John Ross homesite shown in my V.I.P. People You Must Meet (the Map People) which I will paste in here. Thanks

The following is a REVISION to be inserted into the VIP article (Issue 17--about half way down under the "Trail of Tears" and "Confederate States" section ):

But the Cherokees are most famous as victims of “the Trail of Tears”. Cherokee Chief John Ross had a home near the river forks in what is now Rome, Ga. (the home and nearby graves were “on an eminence” between what is now (2009) the 5th Ave. Nursing Home and the Ball Park at Barron Stadium and W. 3rd Street . The house was on the curve of a road to his ferry and U. S. Post Office at “Head of Coosa” --before there was a Rome, Ga.

While the Chief was away in Washington, in January 1835, the new Rome’s founders invaded his home, making terroristic threats, assaulting, and robbing his wife and family of possession of the home (even before they got some few Cherokees, without authority, to forge the fraudulent Treaty of New Echota in December 1835.) When the Chief found his family driven out, he took a last look at the nearby graves of his father and child and then went in search of his family in Tennessee.

Many early Romans said “There is no good Indian but a dead Indian!” Major Ridge acknowledged he was “signing my death warrant”, when he went against the Chief and the nation, and violated Cherokee law, when he without authority forged his name to the fraudulent Treaty of New Echota and was executed for his treason when the Cherokees who survived the “Trail of Tears” upon which they had been driven from their homes at gunpoint, arrived in Oklahoma. He and his few fellow signers are the only Indians really honored in Rome, Ga., with a 60 acre park at the Major Ridge Home, “Chieftains” where a sign falsely alleges he was “principal Chief of the Cherokees” and another falsely alleges that his execution was “murder”.  Those signs also defame and libel Chief John Ross. Rome tore down Chief John Ross’s home and robbed the markers from the grave of his father and child, their unmarked bones may also be totally destroyed now, if not they may be soon as Rome is planning now (2009) to invest  another $5,000,000.00 of Taxpayer (SPLOST)  money for artificial  turf for tournaments at Barron Stadium to bring more business to downtown Rome, and determined to continue robbing Chief John Ross of the Cherokee Nation  and the bones buried on his home site, of due respect and recognition that they were not “nobody” or “nothing” and that their place is a sacred historic site, not “nowhere” in Barron Stadium in “Historic Rome, Ga.”. A plat of Chief John Ross’s  LL-244 is shown below:

PS: I can't seem to attach the Plat of LL-244 here so find it by scrolling down to it on the folloling Link (about When Habitat Hits Home):

Dear Lunkhead, I am the real "Serpentfoot" The only legal "Serpentfoot" in the world-- because I created that name when I wrote my BAD NEWS GOSPEL back in 1976. I legally changed my name to "Serpentfoot" in November 1995. That can be verified in a case filed the Floyd County Superior Court and signed by Judge Walther.

However, many people seem to be impersonating or copying me, and you may have noticed one of the impersonators you like. WHICH IS NOT ME. I AM THE REAL SERPENTFOOT, not one of the perhaps more publicized impersonators. Were you thinking of one of them?

For instance--on my other thread in the "politics" topic--Coolhead64 mentioned
Youtube and posted a link to it, so I thought I'd join it. I COULD NOT JOIN because imposters had already signed up in my name. See that other thread where I posted the following:

I started to join Youtube after seeing Coolhead's post, But I could not join it because somebody is impersonating me as SERPENTFOOT, when I am the only Serpentfoot in the world, as I created that name back in 1976 when I wrote my BAD NEWS GOSPEL, and then legally changed my name to Serpentfoot in Nov. 1995.
So Coolhead (I'm mostly busy preparing for my lawsuit against Rome and Floyd County right now.) So can you help me correct that problem on YouTube without having to take it to court??
Put "Serpentfoot" into the sign up space and you'll see "It is taken, not available" and also has the next closest names taken! BUT NOT BY ME--THE REAL SERPENTFFOOT. HELP!

that does not mean you are being impersonated! someone else just came up with the name themselves (just as you did) and thought it sounded like a cool screen name, so they used it. It's pretty simple. A lot of names that people go by are in use on the computer already...
