I STILL hope he fails!!!!

Though I really don't see how he can, what with not giving a d**n what most of the American people think.....

From Obama sometime earlier this week (regarding the monstrosity of a healthcare bill)....

“I’m going to be starting from scratch in the sense that I am open to anything that helps promote these goals,” said Obama.

There you go! It really doesn't matter if you want him to scrap this attempt at a takeover, he really couldn't care less......

It's fine, the dumb masses will vote for whoever takes the most from the people they don't like and gives (some of it) to them.

Sad.....  good thing Obama found time in his busy schedule to save us from the next great depression....

I remember listening to Limbaugh in the early 90s (I haven't listened to him in years, other than by happenstance two or three times a year) and he was bashing on the National Organization for Women (NOW).............................This went on for weeks, maybe months.............

His entire rant was about how NOW didn't really care about women or women's rights, they only cared about politics and their own organization...............................Limbaugh speculated that should a woman conservative ever become popular in the US, not only would NOW, and other liberal organizations who claim to promote and defend women, not endorse or support her, they would actively seek to ensure her failure..........................Limbaugh also speculated that NOW, and other liberal organizations, would use tactics and language that they had, in the past, labeled as sexist.................he speculated that NOW and other "women's" organizations would tolerate sexist comments about conservative women.............

I'm thinking that maybe Limbaugh is reincarnated Nostradamus.........................................

It's funny how folks play the sexist card whenever someone attacks a popular (albeit incompetent) female political figure...

I didn't vote for Hillary, not because she is a woman, but because she is a Clinton... I didn't think Palin is qualified for VP or Pres, not because she is a woman, but because she is simply uneducated about the world outside the borders of Alaska... She is good at repeating talking points, but she cannot think on her feet... Her jab at Obama and the teleprompter seems to have backfired... Now, that's funny no matter who you are...

If you believe our next president will be a female, raise your right hand. If you believe in telekinesis, raise my right hand.

Actually, I bet she could....

You know, I write things on my hand all the time.  I guess that alone makes me an uneducated idiot.  But I have spoken to many a sixth grader, and didn't use the FIRST teleprompter....

I also know how many states there are in the Unoted States and the difference between Memorial Day and Veterans Day, which is more than I can say for the COIC.

He is still voteing present, all of the deals are behind transprant back doors. Obamas media will always attack her because peolple like you are scared of her. She will interfer with your facist views.....

You know that whole righting on her hand thing is so stupid. I bet if you polled some people who give lots of speaks that you would see that many write a quick note on their hand. Prob something they forgot to hit in the written speech, but un the less important. I am not an Obama or Clinton fan at all, but if I saw a quick note written on his/her hand I would think nothing of it. The media grabbed this as another way to make Sarah look stupid! And to be honest I aint a big fan of hers either. When you stand in front of crowds of people to speak sometimes things could get lost in the shuffle.

This must be working well for you then....

From the Wall Street Journal:

When the Democrats took control of Congress in 2007, the debt held by the public was 36.2% of GDP. It rose to 40.2% the next year. This year it will be about 63.6%, next year 68.6%, then 77% of GDP in 2020. And the Obama administration's budget estimates 218% in 2050.

The deficit in 2007 was $160 billion. In the next year the Pelosi-Reid Congress took it up to $458 billion, and when President Obama came into office in 2009 it hit $1.4 trillion. The current 2010 projected deficit is $1.6 trillion, which will lead to a tripling of our national debt from 2008 to 2020.

I am not sure I will want to be in the United States in 2020!

I think you're missing the point......................................it's not me that's using the sexist card or trying to be PC.............I don't care what they say about Palin......................

It's just ironic that the same groups who once were leaders in PC and would never stand for any negative comment about a woman, or someone mentally challenged or less fortunate, now use it as fodder and believe it is okay AS LONG as that person is politically opposed.....................

exactly what Limbaugh suggested two decades ago.................................................

Toosa, Since you are outraged when folks use -isms to criticize, consider this article from ASSociated Press "....
Palin’s words avoid repulsing voters with overt racism. But is there another subtext for creating the false image of a black presidential nominee “palling around” with terrorists while assuring a predominantly white audience that he doesn’t see their America?"

Now, What was the title of this article from the reputable ASSociated Press????
"Analysis:  Sarah Palin's Words Carry Racial Tinge"

That dang ole conservative AP........always reverting to "racism"

The conservative show......you know, The View "On the October 14 edition of "The View," discussing Sarah Palin’s daugther Bristol’s pregnancy, Behar wondered where Governor Palin’s "family values" are. "The View’s" most reliable leftist berated Palin for allowing her daughter Levi Johnston to date since Freshman year of high school (high schoolers shouldn’t date?) Then playing the race card, Joy railed "if this was a black teenager that was pregnant, Obama’s kids, God forbid, they would be all over it like a cheap suit and you know it."

Those dang ole conservatives...........always reverting to "racism"

National Organization for Women.........who would NEVER say anything sexist, if for no other reason to prove Limbaugh wrong...........When John McCain announced Governor Palin as his running mate, NOW released a statement slamming that choice as "a cynical effort to appeal to disappointed Hillary Clinton voters.".......a NOW spokeswoman has reportedly engaged in sexism towards Palin when she stated that the Alaska governor is "more a conservative man than she is a woman on women's issues. Very disappointing." ...................

Limbaugh...............hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

I'm guessing NOW believes that women's issues boil down to encouraging women to kill their children, promoting abortion rights up until the child has reach the age of maturity, and pant suits.....................................................................................

And finally, all of these Conservatives said:

"There's also this issue that on April 18th, she gave birth to a baby with Down Syndrome. The baby is just slightly more than 4 months old now. Children with Down Syndrome require an awful lot of attention. The role of vice president, it seems to me, would take up an awful lot of her time, and it raises the issue of, how much time will she have to dedicate to her newborn child?” –CNN’s John Roberts, 8/29/08.
"And I do think, too, that you have to weigh the situation. It's one thing to have one or two or three children, especially if they are healthy children. And everyone knows that women and men are different and that moms and dads are different and that women -- the burden of child care almost always falls on the woman. But I think, when you have five children, one a 4-month-old Down syndrome baby, and a daughter who is 17, who is also a child and who is going to need her mother very much in the next few months and years with her own baby coming, that I don't see how you cannot make your family your first priority. And I think if you are going to be president of the United States, which she may well be, I think that's going to be a real stretch for her."- The Washington Post’s Sally Quinn on CNN’s “Newsroom” 9/2/08.
"SOME WORKING MOTHERS WORRY THAT PALIN IS TAKING ON TOO MUCH" And "SOME VOTERS CONCERNED IF PALIN, A MOTHER OF FIVE HAS TIME TO BE VP." –Tickers on MSNBC
"Kristan, we've talked this morning about whether a mother of five can handle being the vice president. who looks after the kids when she's working? do you know?" - CBS' Maggie Rodriguez on the "Early Show.”
“From our perspective the whole deal is how does the government help you get back up without getting in the way?' Biden asked. 'There's a gigantic -gigantic -- difference between John McCain and Barack Obama, and between me and I suspect my vice presidential opponent. And that is that - ' The crowd laughed. 'Well there's obvious differences,' Biden said, beginning to ham it up. 'She's good looking,' he said, laughing. 'You know there's obvious differences.” -ABC’s Jake Tapper writing about what Democratic vice presidential candidate Joe Biden told supporters at a recent campaign stop.

How do liberals, such as Toosa, defend this????????????????????? By pointing out that Republicans do it too............................LOL...................by turning a blind eye because it's for the greater good because "anything that Hurts Palin, Helps America" ????????? LOL

The whole point was to show that sure, I expect diehard party liners to support even the stupidest things their party does......................but if you're going to pretend to be unbiased politically and issue driven, shouldn't you call out ANY and ALL folks who do or say something stupid regardless of their political affiliation?????????????????? Not you toosa, I'm talking about folks who don't ride the sinking ship..............:D
