What are everybody's thoughts on the new Q102 Morning Show? It is Ross and Maddox. I'm thinking they are not in Rome...from their bios on the Q102 web page they are another syndicated morning show.

They are local, live, warm, bodies at the station every morning from 6-9.

Do they know anything about Rome? Do they care about Rome? Their biographies on the Q102 website don't mention one thing about how close to Rome they live, what community activities in Rome they are involved in, or anything related to them and Rome. It mentions all these things they do in Atlanta. A Rome radio station should have some Rome ties. Q102 is the only good station left in that group (with the exception of 1360 AM, which the group never promotoes). WRGA is just nonstop network/syndication with the exception of brief local newscasts that never change all day and sometimes not from one day to the next. South 107 has syndicated Moby and not much else. 93.5 has the worst music selection of any radio station on the planet. Let's hope that they don't ruin Q102.

I know I stand in the minority, but I love 93.5. I do miss Doug Walker ...
So, has this "Ross and Maddox" duo replaced Jim & Karli ??

I understand that. But she was at the Q102 studios on John Davenport Drive doing her show. That's my point. However, I don't listen to their stations. I was just asking. And I'm thinking you are an employee....judging by your answers.

NO not an employee. The new morning show is done from John Davenport...two live people AT the station.

Actually, they are not at the John Davenport studio. They are syndicated. Having said that, I am not saying anything bad about the new morning show. I am just old fashioned and like local, hometown radio. Also just getting everybody's feedback. I'm not trying to stir up any trouble or controversy. Just enjoying the good back and forth.

The show is NOT syndicated....they ARE at the station, live warm bodies that can be touched. Not sure where you get your info jillsmom but you are mistaken. You need to have accurate info before you put in on the forum.

I loved Jim and Carli. I will miss them. Didn't even listen this morning because I am so disappointed. I am sure the new folks are fine, I just resist change.
