I had a blast at River Jam and I'm so thankful that Rome is able to put shows like this together! However, I thought Jamey Johnson was the headliner and he played before dark! Luke Bryan was an awesome way to finish the show, I just thought it would be Jamey....any one know why?

I'll bet you meant to put this under General Discussion instead of Forum Policy.  Maybe a moderator can move this for you and perhaps then you will get some responses.

No worries.  We've all done this one time or another.

Edited to add:  Welcome to the forum, Artsy!

Also, you probably should not expect a reply within 3 minutes of posting. It generally doesn't work that way.

I heard there were problems in the beginning, I don't know if they last the entire event. My friends had tickets and got there around 2:00 o'clock, but left before 4:00 p.m. because of all the problems. Anyone else hear/know anything about that.

Oh they shouldn't have left! We got there at 2 and tailgated for a while. We went in around 4. I was a little worried when i saw the extremely long line to get in, but it moved pretty fast. The bathroom line....that's another story! I don't know what they were thinking, but they had 2, yeah 2 bathrooms for everyone to use while you tailgate and hang out before they actually let you in. I ended up going back to the car and peeing in a cup! It was that bad! But, we had a great time!

I was not able to attend, but have heard great things from everyone that I know that went. Luke Bryan was the actual headliner, which explains why Jamey Johnson played before him. Last year, bathrooms were the main problem as well. It seems like they would learn after only have 2 the first year. Maybe the bathroom issue will be fixed next year.

I did not go because I figured Jamey Johnson would be on LATE ... I was upset when I found out it was earlier ! I would have loved to hear him. Isn't it possible it was his choice to play earlier ? Perhaps he had another engagement.

As far as the problems, I didn't hear of anything in particular ... with the exception of conflicting reports of what time the gates opened. I heard 2 and I also heard 4. I heard traffic was lined up for miles in both direction. I have seen that happen before (but can't remember what event I was attending).

Remember they sold DOUBLE the tickets they had sold last year ... were they not prepared for the crowd ? Like I said, everyone I know that went said they had a great time.

The only negative I heard was they were not impressed with Luke Bryan.
