heard a lookout for a 2003 Electroglide, think the tag was CY8XLQ, purplish green? color. I know someone is sick, call 911 if you see it!

ME, what in the world is purplish green? The only thing I have ever seen that was like that was black eyes.

Somebody could get killed stealing a Harley. Owners are very obsessive and possessive with their scooters.

Jr, anyone who goes to someones house to steal anything should be shot, cut, hung and drowned.  And then of course, reported to LE.

It is a image thing. I could afford one but bought a Suzuki, that thing will hit 90 mph in a heart beat in second gear.

For some it is a way of life. Mostly, it is the class of owning something that has been around for over a hundred years. And, there is that rumble when one goes by.....it is an American tradition.

I would hazard a guess that you have never spent much time on one or you would not think that they are overrated. Over priced, yes. Over rated, no.

My hubby will nearly break his neck to turn at the sound of HD!!  I have spent a little bit of time ridding-- but it always made my backside numb and tangled my long hair!!(haha) I guess I get it for you men, but don't grip then when I want a $500.00 pair of Prada boots, a $500.00 Coach leather handbag or a $50.00 bra from Victorias Secret!!!

That used Harley will hold some value, that used pair of boots, handbag and bra won't.

My brother-in -law who has lymph cancer can not even get a pay off or near value for his brand new HD that only has 1500 miles, I however got 3x what I paid for 2 pair of Prada shoes that I only had reconditioned and 5x what I paid for a Coach bag on Ebay!! I would never resale a bra but depends on the market-and what you paid for it!!Trust me Couture name brand shoes and handbags are a huge resale value!! I am not disputing that HDs do not hold value, I want to get my hubby one upgrade from his Honda Shadow! I am just saying that if he wants a HD then I can have a pair of boots that cost $500.00 that in 2 yrs I can resale for $850.00 because of the name brand, then HD is doing very well, but thank goodness for crazy women who love PRADA!!!

Wait 10 years down the road and see which has more value. I guess I'm just not crazy enough, I won't pay big prices for labels.

I am sure you, my hubby, and JJ are right down the same rode---HDs are an American legend and do hold up on the value compared to name brand bags and shoes!! I am just saying all of it is just labels-- Of course a HD is going to have more value than a Prada purse! Then again are we just getting down to labels? what makes a HD any more valuable than a Honad Shadow / a pair of boots from payless versus Prada? it is what the customer puts on it?  I find the price of a HD ridicilous!! Some say it is an American legand!! Some say I will not pay for labels but find HD worth it, I call it a label and status! Some may want a HD some may want Prada, it depends on what labels you put your list!! Some are fine w/ 1 pair of shoes, some collect HDs, some collect designer handbags, some collect art work worth millions--- what is worth to one can not be decided by another!! I am not trying to fuss w/ you Spice, my hubby wants a HD and I want to get him one! I think people are crazy to spend what they spend on certain items-- I am just saying that what one person may find ok to spend $5,000 on another person may find crazy-- but if the market will allow it and people will pay for it then who are we to judge?
